Nidaa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Conflict Research, Management, and Resolution, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has been active in variety of social and political movements and organizations aimed at promoting Palestinian and women’s rights. Nidaa worked as project manager at Baladna from 2013 to 2015 and served on the board for one year before becoming Director in July, 2017

Saja completed her Bachelor’s degree in Media and Political Science at the University of Haifa where she also earned a Master’s degree in Media. She has been involved in a variety of Palestinian civil society organizations and is active in her community

Khalil completed his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he also earned his Master’s in Anthropology and Sociology. Prior to joining Baladna’s staff, Khalil volunteered with the organization as a youth leader. He has also been active in a variety of youth, political, and social movements across Palestine

Maria obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Philosophy from the University of Haifa. She is an artist, photographer, and activist. Prior to joining Baladna, she worked as an art curator at Beit Hagefen Gallery, the coordinator of Fattoush Gallery, and an instructor at Hebrew University. She is a member of Activestills Collective and is currently shooting a documentary and pursuing a Master’s degree in documentary cinema at Tel Aviv University

Hitaf is a student of Psychology and Education at Ben Gurion University, focusing on political psychology and psychoanalysis. She is active in the “Al-Mattrah” student youth movement in the Naqab working to revive the Palestinian identity, culture, and heritage

Baraa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Literature from Tel Aviv University, where he also acquired his Master in Social Psychology. He worked as a group dialogue facilitator and speaker for groups in topics of gender, sexuality, sexual harassment, and more, before joining Baladna. Currently he is also employed as education program coordinator at Assiwar Feminist Arab Movement and works as a free-lance group dialogue facilitator.

Weaam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law and his Master’s in Political Science from the University of Haifa. In addition to his work at Baladna, Weaam is an independent researcher with MADAR – Palestinian Center for Israeli Studies in Ramallah and Mada al-Carmel – The Arab Center for Applied Social Research in Haifa 

Dr. Areen Hawari is a Feminist and political Activist and holds a PhD in Gender Studies from the Beersheba University. She is a researcher and coordinats the PhD Student Support Program at Mada al-Carmel - The Arab Center for Applied Social Research in Haifa. Her research focuses on gender, religion and the state in the Palestinian context. She also teaches a course on Palestinians in Israel at the Rothenberg International College at the Hebrew University and a course on feminism in the Arab context at Oranim College

Hanin Aghbaria is from Umm al-Fahm but works and lives in Jaffa. She holds a BA in Law from the Tel Aviv University and an MA in Public Law from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University in Chicago. She is a political and social Activist and Lawyer specialized on compensation cases

Mariam Hawari is a political and social Activist, member of Baladna since 2015 and volunteer since 2013. She holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Haifa and a master's degree in critical security studies

Menas Atareiah is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicin from Technion, Haifa. She was active in various youth and civil framworks and worked as a mentor for youth groups in Baladna for years

He was born in the city of Shfar'am and is the owner of an independent company. He holds a BA in Managment of Institutions and Associations from the University of Haifa and in the Management of Government Companies from the Western Galilee College. He is also a social and political Activist and former member of the municipality of Shafr'am

Born in Shafr'am, she holds a BA in Engeneering, Public Space and Landscape Design from Technion University. She works as an engineer in a company for the development of environmental projects

Born in the city of Sakhnin, he holds a nursing degree from Barzilai Hospital. He is a political and social activists and works as a nurse in the house of the "Golden Generation" hospital
